Happy Monday Morning

It is indeed a happy Monday morning! I accompanied my little sister to the same salon (MARS Hair Studio) that I went to for hair rebonding just a month ago. She really fell in love with my hair that is why she's decided to go too. Glad to know that my hairstylist (Vivan) is here today to do my little sister's hair. As usual, Vivan assessed her hair, asked her some questions like-- when was your last hair rebonding treatment, hair color, etc... My little sister has worse hair condition and it badly needed more treatments to address all the hair problems especially the dryness. Mine was Matrix hair rebonding + Keratin treatment while my sister had the same treatment but with additional Powerdose treatment. To kill time and to maintain the softness of my hair, I asked Vivan to apply some keratin treatment to my hair.  But he said that cellophane's way better and so I agreed. The price of keratin and cellophone are just the same so I really did not mind. I am yet to see the final outcome of my little sister's hair makeover. Will update you guys, real soon!

Great Weekend with Baby and Kulasa Friends

Happy Monday, guys! Hope you all had a great weekend. As for me, I had a perfect weekend 'cause I spent it with my baby and Kulasa friends. By the way, Kulasa is called for students who are studying at St. Scholastica's College. I was a former pre-med student at St.Scholastica's College-Manila but I've decided to shift to B.A International Studies after 3 years. Anyway, we had a dinner date at Seafood Island in Trinoma. It actually was a treat from Jovy who just came home from Qatar. We went for an all pork dinner that includes: lechon kawali, pork barbeque, sinigang na baboy and sisig. Afterwards, Sir Kenneth, our former B.S Biology professor, took us for a gelato dessert at Gellatisimo. Even if we didn't see each other for almost 2 years, nothing really has changed. No awkward feelings or whatever. It was definitely a night filled with fun and laughter!

Eat-all-you-can Samgyeopsal

Eat-all-you-can restaurants are simply the best. I'm just blessed that I have the budget to spoil myself sometimes. But it's so much better when someone would take you out for a lunch or dinner date, right? Teehee! Last June 8th, Baby and I celebrated our 22nd monthsary by going to this fancy Korean/Vietnamese restaurant at Angeles City, Pampanga called Phoa Noi.

The eat-all-you-can Samgyeopsal for only P250 instantly caught our attention so we both agreed to have our dinner/monthsary celebration there. The place was a bit old but tidy. We had to occupy one of the tables outside since we had to use the griller. Surprisingly, everything was unlimited (iced tea, meat & vegetables). For vegetables, they served us the famous Korean kimchi, lettuce and kangkong among others. The food was A-OK! I didn't like their service though. The waitresses were a bit cranky and unfriendly.

Pandesal with Kesong Puti

Nothing beats Pinoy food! Pandesal with kesong puti is what I have just had for breakfast this morning. The pandesal was still hot when was served to me by my beautiful mom. It was SOO good! It's been a while since I had a good breakfast as I always got up pretty late. The kesong puti is to die for! Not too salty compared to the ones I've had before. The pandesal with spanish sardines is a good combination too! In fact, I just bought a bottle of spanish sardines for my breakfast tomorrow. I'm excited to try it!

Home Design Story

Home Design Story is one of the few games that I've been playing these past few weeks. It's a perfect game especially for people who are fond of home/interior design stuff.

By the way, this is my humble home. Haha! Still under renovation though. I'm currently expanding my land area so I'd be able to put up more rooms.

I'd like to have my own space someday. It really doesn't matter if it's a small space just as long as it's clean and well-maintained. I'd invest on nice home furniture too! Everytime I pass by HOME at SM Supermalls, I couldn't help but envision my dream house with my baby.

French Baker

French Baker is where I usually have my favorite croissant. They have one of the best tasting croissants in the country. They have wheat breads too for the health-conscious consumers. Wheat breads usually are more expensive than the regular ones. But I don't mind spending extra if it's better for the body. French Baker's also serving delicious dishes. The hamburger steak is my favorite. It has mashed potato and some veggies on the side. Your choice of rice or bread roll as another siding.

The Fault in Our Stars

Hello everyone! How did your weekend go? Hope you all had a great time with your loved ones! I just wanted to share with you all the book that I recently got for myself. It's the #1 New York Times Bestseller book by John Green-- The Fault in Our Stars. I haven't started reading it yet as I was feeling under the weather the whole afternoon. But I'm very positive that I got the best book from the shelves of National Bookstore. I've read about its synopsis online and it somehow touched my inner soul. Surely, I'll be needing a handful of tissue napkins tonight.
