The Grill by Antonios Tagaytay

Since we were celebrating a very special occasion, my 29th birthday, Baby took me to a fancy restaurant in Tagaytay (The Grill by Antonio's). It really was not cold and chilly when we visited Tagaytay. It was just a normal weather but I still opted to wear my newly-bought sweater. Teehee!

The place gives out a homey vibe and is quite spacious to accommodate guests. I love the staff's attentiveness and focus to details. If ever you need anything, they would happily assist you in the best-est possible way.

We've had pork barbeques (which is priced at P45 each), ginataang kalabasa,  la paz batchoy, and turon with tikoy for dessert. I liked everything especially the turon with tikoy. My tastebuds loved it!
It was very appetizing and definitely the best way to end a hearty meal.

Sky Eye Tagaytay

I just love looking at breathtaking sights. I can stare at them all day. This shot was taken while riding the Sky Eye in Sky Ranch, Tagaytay. Sky Eye is considered as the tallest ferris wheel in the Philippines at 207 ft. You know, I am scaredy cat of heights. In fact, I cried while riding the gondola. Haha! But, my fret instantly got away when I came to realize that I shall conquer my fears! I was lucky enough to catch this breathtaking view with my camera while we were on top. I am planning to ride the Sky Eye again on my next visit. And this time, no more crying! Teehee

By the way, there are other rides that you can try at Sky Ranch and you have to purchase the tickets for each ride individually. Ride-all-you-can tickets are not yet available at this time.

Estancia Resort Hotel Tagaytay

Tagaytay is one of my favorite places to go to whenever I wanted to unwind or escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. I love Tagaytay's weather especially during BER months. The weather tends to be really cool!

I went to Tagaytay last Sunday (Sept 7) for my post birthday celebration. Baby shouldered all of our expenses including food and accommodation. We stayed in a deluxe room at Estancia Resort Hotel. The hotel's setting reminded me of the breathtaking structures in Greece.

Our room was quaint and well-maintained. It was definitely a love at first sight. It was equipped with a mini refrigerator, dining table, dresser, cable television, and other things that usually can be found in a hotel room.

Outside our very pleasant room was a dining set, where you can just sit, enjoy and relax with your family or friends. We were able to relish all of the hotel's amenities and facilities the next day. Right after getting ourselves stuffed with some real good Pinoy breakfast, we roamed around to check out the whole resort.

Kudos to the owners of Estancia Resort Hotel Tagaytay for maximizing the voluminous land area that they've got. I really did enjoy the sauna and jacuzzi. And yes, the sports equipment too!

Happy Skin Shut Up and Kiss Me Lippies

I am in lipstick heaven! I just rewarded myself with the most raved homegrown make-up brand, Happy Skin, the other day. I gushed upon seeing one of the best-selling lipstick shades (The Morning After) 'cause everyone's really been giving good reviews about it.

Moreover, I am a HUGE fan of lipsticks that look natural on the lips. I tried on the The Morning After tester (a limited edition shade) at Plains and Prints and instantly fell in love with it. It is easy to apply and glides on smoothly. With just one application, the color's already visible. No need for second coating anymore! It's the best nude shade of lipstick for me! Another shade that I got was the Summer Fling. It's a peachy shade that brightens up my fair complexion. It's the shade that I always tote around when going out.

Verdict:
This is a very moisturizing lippie that is easy to apply. I love its staying power and its ability to make your lips fab with just one swipe.

Brandless Shoes

It is very seldom for me to wear shoes when going out. I am just more comfortable wearing my Havaianas flip-flops especially when the weather's scorching hot outside. But last time, I had this urge of taking these babies out. I bought this pair at a Tiangge store in Starmall, Alabang. It was love at first sight! It resembles a famous shoe brand that I saw while shopping for our upcoming trip to Tagaytay. The color's very versatile. I can pair it with almost any outfit in my wardrobe. Plus, it is SUPER comfy to wear. It did not give me a hard time strolling around despite not wearing any socks at all. I did not expect that these brandless shoes can give that style and comfort at a fraction of the cost.
