We were able to drive test our newly purchased car, the latest edition of Honda CRV. Yehey! Thank God for this wonderful blessing! We've gone to the province of Laguna and looked around for a private resort. Luckily, we found Monte Azure Resort which is nestled in the northern slope of Mt. Makiling, the home of famous hot springs. The resort’s amenities and facilities include adult pool, kiddie pool and Air conditioned rooms with T&B. They have a bar counter, griller, open shower, videoke and sound system. Function rooms can accommodate 30 guests and the open hall for 150 guests. The place is best for family reunions, wedding receptions, birthdays, workshops, seminars and other functions. We already have made a reservation and we are scheduled to use the resort on Saturday. I'm soo excited!

Princess in Distress
Posted on 2:50 PMby Gracie with No comments
The perfect word to describe myself right now is, “The princess in distress.” Well. I must confess that I really do have heaps of problems right now. Of course I cannot share with you what they are. :(
"Jesus take the wheel
Take it from my hands'
Cause I can't do this on my own
I'm letting go So give me one more chance
Save me from this road I'm on
Jesus take the wheel"
"Jesus take the wheel
Take it from my hands'
Cause I can't do this on my own
I'm letting go So give me one more chance
Save me from this road I'm on
Jesus take the wheel"
God is in control. I know I'd be able to surpass all of these with the help & guidance of Our Almighty Father.

Happy Birthday Mom
Posted on 11:28 PMby Gracie with No comments
There are lots of things to look forward to this weekend but there’s one important thing that I just can’t let pass. And that’s the birthday of my mom. She will be celebrating her birthday this coming Sunday and we’ll be having a small party with the whole gang. I have this thought of buying her a signature bag since she adores collecting bulky bags that can carry all her stuff. Anyhow, I still have four more days to raid the stores in Alabang Town Center.

Stardust
Posted on 2:37 PMby Gracie with No comments
Stardust begins in the drowsy English village of Wall, so named for the cobbled fence that has kept back the villagers securely distant from the mystical parallel world that lies just on the other side. It is here that young Tristan Thorne makes a pledge to the prettiest girl in town, Sienna Miller, whose heart he wishes to win: A promise that he will take her back a fallen star. Now, in order to make good on his promise, Tristan will have to cross the prohibited wall, and enter a mystifying kingdom lit by endless enchantment and unfolding legends of which he will suddenly become a part of it.

Mandarin Wok
Posted on 1:25 PMby Gracie with No comments
We had an awesome lunch at Mandarin Wok last weekend. The resto offers gourmet Chinese cuisine that customers will surely love. We went for yang chow fried rice, steamed pork siomai and lumpia shanghai roll. While waiting for our order to be served, we grabbed some magazines to read. And then after 5 minutes, the food came and we started eating.
I am not Chinese but I adore Chinese cuisine, quite a lot actually! Here’s the list of some of my favorite Chinese restos: Super bowl of China, North Park, Luk Foo, Mr. Chois and Mongkok, to name a few. :)
