Laybare is my favorite place to go to for my eyebrow threading. I always go to SM Tunasan branch 'cause the staff are friendly and professional. But last time, I have no choice but to have my eyebrow threading done at Alabang Town Center. The technician who did my eyebrow threading was nice and accommodating. She's made sure that I'm 100% satisfied with their service. Eyebrow threading at Laybare just costs P110, both for men and women.

Chatime Alabang Town Center
Posted on 1:27 AMby Gracie with No comments
I swear.. I really am trying to withstand the temptation to eat fastfood but I just can't! :( I have to cut out my unhealthy food cravings now 'cause Christmas is just around the corner. As you may already know, Christmas means a lot of things: Celebrating the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ, spending time with our loved ones and getting fat. Haha!
Anyway, I'd still talk about how good my food was when I ate out with my little sister at Chatime, Alabang Town Center. We had chicken chops and barbecue-flavored french fries. The chicken chops were cooked to a T. It wasn't hard to chew and it definitely makes a perfect afternoon snack together with your favorite Chatime drink. The barbecue flavored french fries were not too briny, which I liked.

A very good news to all those people from down south! Forever 21 is opening a branch at SM Southmall on October 31st. I jumped for joy when I saw this on my news feed. You know, it's a dream come true for shopaholics like me. Plus, Forever 21's been my favorite store ever since it penetrated the Philippine market. If my memory serves me right, my first ever purchase from them was a plain white top. It really goes well with my favorite leggings and skinny jeans. I'm excited to get first dibs at Forever 21 Southmall. I'd like to get a pair of bf/ripped jeans and probably a nice sweater for the upcoming holidays.

Fruits in Ice Cream: Choco Marble Lite
Posted on 7:22 PMby Gracie with 2 comments
My tummy's in euphoria again. I just had Fruits in Ice Cream's Choco Marble Lite in a cup at Alabang Town Center. It is low in fat, sugar free and it tastes really good, as if I'm eating a regular ice cream. The FIC Lite has 5 delicious flavors: Mangoes and Cream, Cafe Latte, Choco Marble, French Vanilla and Mixed Berries. I was able to try the Mixed Berries too and so far, it's my favorite! My sister had the regular ice cream in Avocado flavor and the taste was sterling. I'm going to try the Mangoes & Cream on my next visit and I'd get the double scoop in a sugar cone.

Shut Up and Kiss Me Lip and Cheek Mousse: Swept Off My Feet
Posted on 11:40 PMby Gracie with No comments
I'm one happy kiddo. Finally, got my hands on HAPPY SKIN's newest product, Shut Up and Kiss Me Lip and Cheek Mousse. As always, their packaging is so P-U-H-R-E-T-T-Y. It makes you want to get all of them. I got the Swept Off My Feet shade, a pinkish nude that gives that girly vibe. I have been using this for three straight days now and I have noticed that its staying power is just as amazing as the Shut Up and Kiss Me moisturizing lippies. It is creamy upon application then it ends into soft matte finish. It does look natural on my lips. My sister can barely tell that I'm wearing lipstick. The Warm and Toasty shade is definitely my next target. I'm getting more and more obsessed with coral shades 'cause they give my skin that summer glow that I need all year round.

Kenji Tei Alabang Town Center
Posted on 11:14 PMby Gracie with No comments
Baby and I have agreed to try all the restaurants in our favorite shopping mall in the south, Alabang Town Center, especially the ones we haven't tried before. We have been to a few and mostly, they were Japanese restaurants. Yes, that's how crazy we are for Japanese cuisine! Just yesterday, we headed to Kenji Tei for some ramen and salmon sushi for our late lunch. We have decided to sit near the entrance door so we could take photos without getting the attention of others.
I had large bowl of Shoyu Ramen (P325) while Baby had Spicy Negi Ramen (P365). My Shoyu Ramen has similar taste with the one I've had in Greenbelt recently. Baby allowed me to have a taste of her ramen and I liked it more. My palette loves anything spicy 'cause it gives out an extra kick and it helps lessen the umay factor. I just wished that they've added up some veggies in the Spicy Negi Ramen. It was all pork which isn't really a good idea especially for health conscious individuals. I liked the salmon sushi(P145) too, but I'd always be a salmon sashimi lover.

My Very Own Tomato Swap Watch
Posted on 10:54 AMby Gracie with No comments
Finally, the long wait is over! I have my very own Tomato Swap watch now. It was a birthday gift from baby. The color's real nice but I'm planning to get a black or gold clock face and some new straps to match. The other color of strap that I have looks fun and pretty too. But sometimes, I am having a hard time pairing it up with my outfits especially with colored and patterned ones. I have no choice but to wear my black G-shock instead. I hope they'd come up with new colors and designs in the near future. Cartoon characters would be an awesome idea.

Nature Republic Mascara
Posted on 8:51 PMby Gracie with No comments
Eyelash extensions have been part of my life for almost 2 years now. However, I have just realized that it isn't practical to spend P550 every month. There were times that I had to go back for retouch (P200) after a week or two. What a waste! That's why, I finally have decided to buy a mascara that would make my lashes appear longer. I've got the Botanical Wonder Mascara from Nature Republic which is indubitably a good buy. It really gives out that long lash effect on my short and sparse eyelashes. AND... It doesn't smudge which is a PLUS points for me! I hate it when a mascara leave smudges on the eye area. It looks a real MESS. I'm going to get the volume effect on my next visit. It looks nice too!

Birks Inspired Sandals
Posted on 10:23 PMby Gracie with No comments
Mandals are so back! I remember owning a few pairs of Birkenstock sandals way back. I've had 3 pairs that come in different colors and styles. Sadly, I don't have any idea where they are now.
Anyway, I am just happy that my favorite homegrown shoe brand, SEWN Sandals has come up with an idea of creating Birks inspired sandals (ADLER) that are incredibly comfortable to wear. I got the classic color (black) so I could easily pair it up with my plain, colored, and patterned outfits. They also have it in white and matte copper. My Adler sandals definitely are my newfound love!

Happy Skin PH
Posted on 2:43 PMby Gracie with No comments
Makeup is something that I just cannot live without. I am not skittish to admit that my face really looks dry and pale when I am not wearing any makeup. Plus, dark circles around my eyes have been my major problem ever since. I need LOTSA concealer to hide them or else my life is doomed. Haha.
Anyway, I just wanted to share with you all my latest make-up loot from a very popular homegrown brand, HAPPY SKIN. Rissa Mananquil-Trillo and Jacqe Yuengtian-Gutierrez are the awesome people behind HAPPY SKIN. They teamed up to create a skin-loving makeup. Now, I know why more and more people are loving this brand 'cause I was able to try them out myself. Happy Skin PH is something to be proud of! In fact, I love it more than my MAC makeup. Will surely add up more shades to my growing Shut Up and Kiss Me lippie collection.
