Last Sunday, we went for an all Pinoy dinner at Crisostomo Restaurant in Nuvali-Sta Rosa. It was also a small despedida party for my dad who left for the Middle East the day after. We've had my all-time favorite baked mussels, sinigang na baboy, crispy chicken, tofu and pinakbet. For drinks, I've had Kalamansi Malunggay Juice and the rest went for sago't gulaman and iced tea. I'm missing my dad so much. I'm hoping he'd come back real soon. But I've heard from my mom just yesterday that Dad's planning to come back on July.

Starbucks South Luzon Expressway
Posted on 1:31 AMby Gracie with No comments
Happy Weekend, everyone! Maybe I've already mentioned in my previous blog posts that Starbucks in South Luzon Expressway branch is where we normally go to after having lunch or dinner out. No doubt, my dad's a SB addict. He never fails to bring us to Starbucks for some coffee and snacks. He's leaving on Monday and everything will be back to normal. No more lunch/dinner out and Starbucks stopovers. I'm gonna miss hanging out with my dad. That's for sure.

Mom's 60th birthday
Posted on 12:25 PMby Gracie with No comments
My mom celebrated her 60th birthday just last week. All my relatives from my mom's side of the family were present to celebrate with the beautiful birthday celebrant. Island Cove Resort is where my mom threw a simple party for the whole gang. As usual, we've had delish Pinoy food for lunch and merienda. The food for merienda is what I liked more though. I've had pandesal with kesong puti, lomi and pancit canton. While the others had mais con yelo, pandesal with sardines, maruya a la mode and turon. My dad spent almost 9K for my mom's birthday celebration but it was all worth-it! Mom really had a great time!

Keep Hydrated
Posted on 4:37 PMby Gracie with No comments
Summer's already here! It makes me want to go the beach and bask in the sun. I'm quite sure some of you already have plans this summer. But wherever you're planning to go, just don't forget to keep yourself hydrated all the time. Please drink 6-8 glasses of water to avoid dehydration and heat stroke. As for me, I always make sure to have my water container with me or have some healthy juices whenever I go out. Buko juice is a good pick to beat the summer heat!
