Dinner at Crisostomo Restaurant

Last Sunday, we went for an all Pinoy dinner at Crisostomo Restaurant in Nuvali-Sta Rosa. It was also a small despedida party for my dad who left for the Middle East the day after. We've had my all-time favorite baked mussels, sinigang na baboy, crispy chicken, tofu and pinakbet. For drinks, I've had Kalamansi Malunggay Juice and the rest went for sago't gulaman and iced tea. I'm missing my dad so much. I'm hoping he'd come back real soon. But I've heard from my mom just yesterday that Dad's planning to come back on July.

Baked Mussels

Seafoods are something that I could eat each and everyday of my life. I know some seafoods are highly rich in cholesterol that is why it should be taken in moderation. One of my all-time favorite seafood dishes would be baked mussels. I like it with lots of cheese on top. It is even better when it's perfectly baked. Mesa is one of the few restaurants that offers delectable baked mussels. The size of mussels is enormous. You can also visit Seaside in Macapagal if you want to get some fresh and delicious seafoods at affordable prices. You can take it home or have it cooked at some of the seafood restaurants there. You just need to pay for the cooking fee which is inexpensive too.

Manong's Bar & Grill

My family and I just had an awesome dinner at one of our favorite Filipino restaurants in the country, Manong’s Bar and Grill.

We have ordered for baked mussels and liempo. I'm a sucker for seafoods! I can finish one plate of baked mussels in less than 5 minutes. I'd like to try the other Pinoy viands on our next visit such as sinigang and kare-kare.
