Good morning, everyone! I just want to share with all of you that I've just downloaded the BBM application on my iPhone. Yes, you heard me loud and clear. The BBM application is now available on iPhone devices. I've got a Blackberry phone but I hardly use it since I don't have the budget to avail the BBM or social services. I was really in awe to find out that BBM can work using the iPhone. Now, I can chat with my friends using the BBM application on my iPhone anytime, anywhere. I just need to have a working wifi to utilize it.

My mom ordered some pizza, pasta and chicken at Pizza Hut-Muntinlupa. Pizza Hut's wingstreet (spicy asian) is one of my favorites. It's a combination of sweet and spicy. Puto Bungbong... I guess everyone loves this delicacy! I've got to taste Baguio's puto bungbong the last time I went there and I absolutely loved it! It's the best puto bungbong I've ever had so far.

My Lavish Lashes Studio Experience

Eyelash extensions? It's a must for me to have my eyelash extensions done regularly. I won't have to wear any eye-make up anymore because the eyelash extensions alone would do the trick in making my eyes brighter and more attractive. (Yehess naman!)

I had my eyelash extensions (fancy look) done just yesterday at Lavish Lashes Studio in Festival Mall-Alabang. It was my first time to have it done there and I was extremely happy and content with their service. 

The place was cozy and I felt relaxed during the whole procedure except from the glue that they have used. It was kind of itchy but bearable though. 

Morever, I like the fact that they're accepting credit card payments. When I don't have cash on hand and I feel like going to Lavish Lashes Studio for my eyelash extensions, I can use my credit card anytime. I would give it a rating of 9 out 10.

After-Care Instructions 

- Avoid getting your lashes wet within the first 24 hours. 

- Avoid swimming, steam bath or sauna for the first 2 days. 

- Do not pick, pull or rub your extensions. 

- Avoid oil-based eye products and waterproof mascara. 

- Use cotton swab to remove make-up around the eye area. 

- Do not use eyelash curler, perm or tint your extensions. 

- If you experience any signs of irritation, you may be allergic to the extensions and need to have them removed. 

- We recommend touch-up every 2-3 weeks.

Watching movies is definitely one of the things that entertain me. Last time, my family and I watched the Captain Phillips movie. It was a true story about Captain Richard Phillips and the hijacking of MV Maersk Alabama cargo ship by Somali pirates. There are no dull moments and Tom Hanks did a great job in portraying his character as Capt.Phillips himself. I would give this film a rating of 9.5 out of 10.

Giga Products

Giga slimming and whitening soaps are being raved by so many. The rave reviews made me try some of their products. There's no harm in trying, right? Even if it's way out of the budget, I still purchased these three the last time I went shopping at Festival Mall in Alabang. 

I have a fair complexion. I actually don't need to spend on whitening soaps anymore but my skin in the arm area got a bit darker. 

I also acquired a Seaweed soap and oil which is said to firm, tone and de-fat. The  seaweed oil costs PHP 310 while the seaweed soap and skin lightening soap costs around PHP 80 each. I've chosen the Giga brand because it's organic. It's made of natural ingredients that is perfect for any skin type. If you have sensitive skin then you really should go for organic products! 

It's only my second day to use them so obviously there's no any visible change yet. The seaweed oil has a cooling effect after applying it on my belly area. I like anything that has a cooling effect especially during bedtime. It gives out a soothing and calming feeling and helps to put me into good sleep.

Las Paellas Cafe

Hi guys! How are you all doing? Hope your weekend turned out well. As for me, I've had a nice weekend as usual since I spent it with my mom's side of the family. I just wanted to share with all of you my experience with this restaurant called Las Paellas Cafe in Festival Mall. 

My sister's bf took us to a dinner treat last Tuesday. We watched a movie and had dinner afterwards. It was my first time to eat in Las Paellas Cafe. We got there around 6:20 P.M. 

I've never had this thought of trying it out because the food looks expensive. The menu was handed to me by the waiter right after we were seated and I was surprised that the prices were very affordable. I can barely remember the exact names of the food we've had for dinner but all I can say is that they were all DELICIOSO! 

I liked the garlic spicy mussels and pork chop andaluz. And yes, the caesar salad too! This place warrants another visit from me!

New Pullover

Hi everyone! Christmas is fast approaching. Bazaars are sprouting like mushrooms these days. I've been to Noel Bazaar at the Festival Tent with baby just the other day. There were only few stalls inside since the space is quite limited. I happened to pass by this stall that sells overrun clothes. The pullovers that I saw mostly were gorgeous but this one instantly caught my eye. I got this pullover for only PHP 100.00. A great steal, indeed!

Pullovers are "in" these days. I've been seeing several online shops selling pullovers but they are beyond my budget. I've always been tempted to place an order online but I just don't like the idea of going to the bank to make the payment. You know, It's kind of hassle on my part. That's why I really was happy to get this nice pullover. I didn't think twice of buying it. It's like the ones that I've been seeing in Forever 21 stores. 

As you can all see, it has sequins on it. It only doesn't look good but it's comfy to wear too. It's not thick and heavy so you could basically wear this even when the weather isn't too cool.

Life Changing Experience

All I ever think about is F-O-O-D. It's something that I just can't get rid out of my system. Sometimes I want to suppress my appetite but I just can't. It's too hard when you have great love for food. No wonder why I've gained so much weight during my HS years. I was teased by many because I was fat. But it became one of my motivations to lose weight. I enrolled in an aerobics class and refused to eat anything that's fattening. I've shed off some pounds and I am quite happy with my figure now. It was indeed a life-changing experience for me.

But I have to admit that I am starting to eat a lot again. I've been eating fastfoods lately but I really am trying to control myself. It's hard when eating is really your passion. But whenever I remember the times when people criticized me because of my figure, i can't help but cry sometimes. I have to stop my bad eating habits as early as now because I might regret it later on.

Who says you need expensive things just to look fashionable? In time of crisis, you really need to know how to be practical. You must know what are your priorities. I was once a brand-conscious type but after I've experienced being broke a few years back, I've come to a realization that I should really start saving up for my future.

I've started to patronize local brands after that. This pair of shoes is from my aunt. She gave this to me on my 28th birthday. It's from Solemate, a local shoe brand that can be purchased at any SM department store. I love their collection. They are so trendy and colorful. I have three pairs of Solemate shoes that come in one design but different colors, of course. They are comfy to wear too. 

New designs are now up for sale. I wish I could grab them all but I know it isn't practical to splurge on things I really don't need. I have to keep in mind what I've just learned about saving up.

Noel Bazaar in the South

Bazaars? Who does not love them? I love going to bazaars! I truly enjoy buying stuff for myself and for my loved ones most specially when the Holiday season is just around the corner. I have been to several bazaars but it was my first time to attend one in the south area. I've got so excited when I heard over the news that GMA's Noel Bazaar is coming to the south. It started last Oct 18, 2013 (Friday) and sad to say that the bazaar is only until today. But don't worry guys, they are coming back on December for last minute shoppers like me. And yes, you can also visit them next month at the World Trade Center. The place is way bigger than Festival Tent so expect that there would be more stalls of clothes, christmas decors, fashion accessories, shoes and more. I did enjoy my early Christmas shopping with my love as I got to purchase cheap yet fashionable pullovers. Pullovers are in demand these days as we all expect that the weather would be cooler in the coming days(fingers crossed).

Amber spaghetti is one of my favorite snacks. Before my brother left for abroad, he took us for a delicious "merienda" treat. He has ordered for spaghetti, palabok and pichi-pichi. I finished two plates of spaghetti in less than 10 minutes. I love the fact that it has lots of grated cheese on top. I am a cheese lover and I'd always like anything with cheese on it. I just can't get enough of J.Co donuts. In my opinion, It is not an overrated donut as what other people claim. It is not too sweet compared to the other donut brands that I've tried. Moreover, the bread is soft and you are guaranteed that it's freshly baked. My sister bought a dozen of these last night. I finished three in less than 10 minutes. Uh-oh.

Eating Dark Chocolate

I just made a post earlier regarding sugar free chocolates and I am making another to make you all salivate. (just kidding) LOL. I just can't stop eating these two. I finished one bag of Russell Stover sugar free pecan delights just yesterday and I am currently munching on some Valor dark chocolate with almonds while doing this blog entry. Dark chocolate is said to be good for the heart and brain. Eating small amount of dark chocolate 2 or 3x each week can help lower blood pressure and can increase the blood flow to your brain. Moreover, it is rich in antioxidants and is high in vitamins and minerals. So starting today, I'd include sugar free dark chocolates on my grocery shopping list. Ben Nye Banana Luxury Powder and Maybelline Foundation

Maybelline clear smooth aqua foundation and Ben Nye banana luxury powder are my current favorite make up products. Ben Nye is one of the most talked about make up brands today. I have been reading rave reviews regarding this product so I've finally made the decision to give it a shot. I bought the small sized bottle which costs PHP 800. The price is quite expensive for its size but I really have to try this one since the reviews that I've read were mostly positive. The Ben Nye Banana luxury powder works best if paired with any creamy foundation. I have got to try it the other day and I can say that I am quite impressed with the results. The yellowish color of the powder suits my fair complexion. It has a lasting effect though I still have to re-apply it after 4 hours or so because I sweat a lot. I would give this product a score of 8 out of 10.

USB Connector For My iPod Shuffle

It's been a while since I last used my iPod Shuffle. I can't find its charger anymore so I have decided to purchase a new one even though I'm on a tight budget right now. I've got this usb connector (photo above) for PHP 250 at Alabang Town Center. Initially, the salesday was selling it for PHP 350 but I did a little haggling to get the best possible price. It took me a while to find a usb connector for my iPod shuffle as I can only count in my hands the number of stores that are actually selling it. I am so happy with my purchase! Now, I can use it if I don't feel like bringing my iPod Touch 5 with me.

Does this picture look familiar to you? I bet for some. But for those who have not seen this movie yet then let me tell you something about it. Warm Bodies is not a typical movie. It is about a zombie who fell in love with a beautiful human being. Instead of eating her out alive, he brought her to his place to keep her safe from other zombies. He is different from the others. He is less harmful and acts like a human being sometimes. But later on, the other zombies started to become like him. They have joined forces to beat the real monsters! It was indeed a beautiful story. It is something that you don't always see on movies!

Starbucks is where my family and I go to after having our tummies filled with good food. Last Sunday, we had a quick stop at Starbucks-SLEX. This is our most favorite branch since it is near our place and the staff already know of us. I had my usual order which is White Chocolate Mocha Espresso with only 1 and 1 half pump of white chocolate. I presented my SB card but unfortunately the machine wasn't working that time so they just upsized all of our drinks for free. I've just had a hard time finishing mine since I am not used to getting grande or venti sized cups.

Birthday Celebration

Two of the most important people in my life- my aunt and uncle, celebrated their birthdays last Sunday. They share the same birthday but they are not twins. It just so happened that they were born on the same month and day. My other aunt who is now based in New Zealand sent some cash to the birthday celebrants. The money was used to order for some delicious Chinese viands at North Park which includes lechon macau, sweet and sour fish fillet and crispy chicken. My mom bought two 1.5 liters of ice cream for dessert. It was a happy birthday indeed for the both of them.

OJT Experience

This is how my desk looked like when I had my on the job training at Philippine Airlines. It was kind of messy. Haha! Paperworks were piled up, phone lines were busy, pilots kept coming in and out and other things that require effort, hardwork and patience. I was no ordinary trainee as I was also doing other work that is not usually assigned to OJT trainees. It taught me so many things which I can truly be proud of. Drinking a cup of hot choco or coffee is the best way to start off my day. It puts me into good mood and helps me to stay awake when I badly needed to. Mary Grace's hot choco is my second favorite next to Batirol's. If I am not mistaken, this one is a chocnut flavored hot chocolate and it tastes really good! You should not dare miss trying it when you are planning to dine in with your family or friends at Mary Grace.

Forever 21 Wallet

Forever 21 is definitely one of my favorite shops. They sell fabulous clothes especially dresses and tops. It is here where I bought my two dresses that I wore on my graduation day. Aside from the dresses, I also bought this really nice wallet that has slots for photo and credit cards. It also has a compartment for other things such as identification cards and receipts.
