The Penthouse BF Homes Paranaque

Great news, Southerners! A new shopping hub (The Penthouse) in BF Homes Paranaque has finally opened its doors to cater to all your shopping needs. I have learned about it when two of my favorite shops online announced that they'd be having a branch in the south. 

I asked my little sister to come with me for a little shopping spree two Sundays ago. We didn't have a hard time finding the Penthouse's exact location as I have downloaded the map on my mobile phone beforehand. It's located at 162 Chloe Building in Aguirre Avenue (near Larcy's Cupcakery Cafe). 

The Penthouse is heaven-sent for us shopaholics. They have gathered some of the best online shops in instragram to make shopping more fun and frolic. 

The first thing I checked out was the Flattering Tops (@flatteringtops) as they have a variety of free size tops (small-xl) for a very affordable ante. If you want to spruce up your ho-hum closet, GeliVanelli Couture (@gelivanelli) has some real nice pieces for you.

Haircut at Salon T and J

After so many years, I finally have made the call to cut my hair short. It really was a hard decision to make since I'm used to having long tresses. The hot weather's already giving me discomfort and my hair's very dry and wavy. Of course, I've asked for my baby's approval first and she said okay but not too short. 

I went to Salon T & J at SM Tunasan for my haircut just yesterday. If I'm not mistaken, Salon T & J is also owned by Tony & Jackey Salon. But Salon T & J has Filipino hairstylists unlike in Tony & Jackey that has Korean hairstylists. Angie did my haircut and I was utterly happy with the outcome. The haircut only costs Php 200, cheap isn't it? 

Frankly, I'm not used to having short hair but I'm quite sure I'll get the hang of it eventually. It isn't bad to get out of your comfort zone sometimes. Life is short! Be bold and spunky!  Enjoy while you still can!

The technicians are very professional and the prices are cut-rate. It was my first time to have my legs waxed here and I was happy and content with the results! The hair took time to grow back, the roots are now thinner and there's no itchy feeling anymore.'Cause every time I shave my legs, I couldn't help but scratch it with my fingers and I always end up getting bruises. Skin Lightening Products

Today's Haul: Celeteque moisturizer, Eskinol Spot-less white, Kojie San skin lightening soap and Olay natural white. If you would notice 3 out of 4 are lightening/whitening products. I have a fair skin but I've got a little darker due to frequent sun exposure. 

I'm kind of desperate to get my old skin color back that's why I'm really trying out different skin lightening/whitening products that would actually work for me. I'm going to update you guys once I've noticed any improvements using these beauty products.

Ben Nye Banana Luxury Powder and Maybelline Foundation

Maybelline clear smooth aqua foundation and Ben Nye banana luxury powder are my current favorite make up products. Ben Nye is one of the most talked about make up brands today. I have been reading rave reviews regarding this product so I've finally made the decision to give it a shot. I bought the small sized bottle which costs PHP 800. The price is quite expensive for its size but I really have to try this one since the reviews that I've read were mostly positive. The Ben Nye Banana luxury powder works best if paired with any creamy foundation. I have got to try it the other day and I can say that I am quite impressed with the results. The yellowish color of the powder suits my fair complexion. It has a lasting effect though I still have to re-apply it after 4 hours or so because I sweat a lot. I would give this product a score of 8 out of 10.

Love my hair

I'm so in love with my hair! :) I had a hair rebond just two weeks ago at a salon nearby. It only cost me PHP 1500.00 including cellophane and other hair treatments. The whole procedure almost took me 7 hours since there were other customers who were having the same service too. I'm quite content with the service they have rendered. The hair stylist was very friendly. He even offered to buy me some food cause it was already past dinnertime when we finished.
