The Penthouse BF Homes Paranaque

Great news, Southerners! A new shopping hub (The Penthouse) in BF Homes Paranaque has finally opened its doors to cater to all your shopping needs. I have learned about it when two of my favorite shops online announced that they'd be having a branch in the south.

I asked my little sister to come with me for a little shopping spree two Sundays ago. We didn't have a hard time finding the Penthouse's exact location as I have downloaded the map on my mobile phone beforehand. It's located at 162 Chloe Building in Aguirre Avenue (near Larcy's Cupcakery Cafe).

The Penthouse is heaven-sent for us shopaholics. They have gathered some of the best online shops in instragram to make shopping more fun and frolic.

The first thing I checked out was the Flattering Tops (@flatteringtops) as they have a variety of free size tops (small-xl) for a very affordable ante. If you want to spruce up your ho-hum closet, GeliVanelli Couture (@gelivanelli) has some real nice pieces for you.

K-Palette Eye Makeup Goodies

K-Palette? It's heaven-sent for all of us girls who can never leave the house without wearing makeup. My brows have been my problem ever since and I'd never get tired of ranting about it. (Kasi nakakainis talaga) I have tried numerous eyebrow makeup products but NONE of them passed my standards. (feeling makeup guru, pagbigyan na)

Discovering K-Palette was one of the best days of my life. I was literally jumping in joy when I purchased my first ever K-Palette eyebrow liner. When I got home, I tried it out right away and caught myself smiling the whole time while applying this impeccable eyebrow liner. Sometimes I couldn't believe that I'm actually wearing one 'cause it does a great job in mimicking my eyebrow hair.

My K-Palette eyebrow liner pen's almost empty after a few months of using it, so I went to Beauty Bar-Alabang Town Center the other day to snag some K-Palette eye make up goodies. I got the 2way eyebrow pencil instead of the eyebrow liner, for a change. And the rave reviews online is also the deciding factor in buying it.

Another MUST HAVE in every makeup kit would be the real lasting eyeliner. I didn't blow off the chance of acquiring this holy grail make up product 'cause I was greatly inspired by my favorite local MUA. She can create a perfect winged eyeliner in a jiffy. A true artist, indeed!

Just like what I did with my eyebrow liner, I tried it out right away and also caught myself smiling the whole time while applying it to my kaawa-awang eyebrows. The 2way eyebrow pencil obviously has two sides (pencil and powder). I used the pencil tip to draw my eyebrows, then I applied the powder tip to fill in gaps and to achieve a softer look. It has a stronger color opacity-- perfect for those who have lesser eyebrow hairs like me. Thank you K-Palette for making our eyebrow game stronger than ever!

Now let's move on to the real lasting eyeliner. Eyeliners aren't new to me but it's always been a struggle for me to create that seamless eyeliner makeup. It's tricky and quite hard to achieve especially with liquid eyeliners. But with K-Palette's real lasting eyeliner, I instantly felt like a pro.

The real lasting Micro eyeliner has an impressive .05mm micro thin brush. I personally recommend this for beginners who wanted to score a beautiful eyeliner makeup effortlessly. Never understimate the tenuity of its brush 'cause in every flick you'd always get that consistent super black color. (See sample below).

Pros (2way Eyebrow Pencil)
- Stronger color opacity
- Long lasting
- Easy to apply
- Nice packaging
- Can be removed with soap and water (No makeup remover needed)

Cons (2way Eyebrow Pencil)
- Quite pricey

Pros (Real Lasting Eyeliner)
- Strong color
- Long lasting
- Easy to apply
- Nice packaging
- Can be removed with soap and water (No makeup remover needed)
- Perfect for beginners

Cons (Real Lasting Eyeliner)
- Quite Pricey

K-Palette Zero Kuma Concealer

Dark circles under my eyes have been my problem ever since I started going to college. I took up a pre-medicine course which requires a lot of laboratory assignments and projects. I have had irregular sleeping patterns during those times and sleep was never part of my dictionary.

To cut to the chase, my dark circles got worse. I have had to apply heavy amounts of concealer under my eyes. It was slightly irritating and uncomfortable on my part.

I'm just glad that I've finally found the right brand of concealer for my panda eyes, K-Palette Zero Kuma Concealer. It really pays to have an Instagram account 'cause you can find there almost anything and everything you've been looking for.

I have discovered K-Palette through a local celebrity that I've been stalking (not following) on Instagram. haha! She endorses almost all of K-Palette products. Her favorites are the Real Lasting Eyebrow (which I also have), Real Lasting Eyeliner and Zero Kuma Concealer.

I got sooo intrigued with the Zero Kuma Concealer 'cause everyone's been raving about it, including the local celebrity that I've been stalking. (I'm just pulling your leg). Haha! I bought shade # 2 'cause it was highly recommended by the SA in Beauty Bar. She's told me that it's the best shade for those who have fair skin.

Zero Kuma Concealer costs P795, a bit expensive from other concealer brands out there, but it's a holygrail makeup product that it's worth every penny. A little amount of this concealer goes a long, long way! It does help in concealing my serious dark underye problem and I have noticed a certain glow when I applied it on my face to cover some dark spots.

Plus, it really does stay on my oily face for hours with my favorite face powder. It does not cake unlike the concealers I have tried back in the day. I'd be posting a photo of myself wearing this amazing beauty product, hopefully on my next blog entry. Till next!

Makeup Products That Ive Been Using Since Forever

Today, I'm sharing with all of you some of the makeup products that I have been using since forever.

1. Maybelline powder- I have been using this product since college. It's a shine free cake powder that is long wearing and has UV protection. It can stay on my face for good 4-5 hours.

2. Happy Skin Get Cheeky With Me in Summer Fling shade- It's easy to apply and it can give that summer glow on my face.

3. Happy Skin Shut Up and Kiss Me - Happy Skin lippies are moisturizing and long lasting. Crushing on You, The Morning After and Summer Fling are my favorite lipstick shades from their collection.

4. MAC lipstick- My favorite brand of lipstick since forever. Please Me, Rebel and Ruby Woo are my favorite lipstick shades. Rebel and Ruby Woo are perfect for a dinner date or night out with friends.

5. EOS Lipbalm- It keeps my lips moisturized for hours.

6. K-Palette Real Lasting Eyebrow- Sparse and uneven eyebrows? Worry no more! Because KPalette Real Lasting Eyebrow would do the trick for you!

Nature Republic Mascara

Eyelash extensions have been part of my life for almost 2 years now. However, I have just realized that it isn't practical to spend P550 every month. There were times that I had to go back for retouch (P200) after a week or two. What a waste! That's why, I finally have decided to buy a mascara that would make my lashes appear longer. I've got the Botanical Wonder Mascara from Nature Republic which is indubitably a good buy. It really gives out that long lash effect on my short and sparse eyelashes. AND... It doesn't smudge which is a PLUS points for me! I hate it when a mascara leave smudges on the eye area. It looks a real MESS. I'm going to get the volume effect on my next visit. It looks nice too!

Happy Skin PH

Makeup is something that I just cannot live without. I am not skittish to admit that my face really looks dry and pale when I am not wearing any makeup. Plus, dark circles around my eyes have been my major problem ever since. I need LOTSA concealer to hide them or else my life is doomed. Haha.

Anyway, I just wanted to share with you all my latest make-up loot from a very popular homegrown brand, HAPPY SKIN. Rissa Mananquil-Trillo and Jacqe Yuengtian-Gutierrez are the awesome people behind HAPPY SKIN. They teamed up to create a skin-loving makeup. Now, I know why more and more people are loving this brand 'cause I was able to try them out myself. Happy Skin PH is something to be proud of! In fact, I love it more than my MAC makeup. Will surely add up more shades to my growing Shut Up and Kiss Me lippie collection.

Snoe Whats Up Brow Eyebrow Gel Corrector

My eyebrows are sparse and uneven. Yes, you heard it right! My left eyebrow is shorter than the right one. It's been my problem eversince! Every time I go for an eyebrow threading, the technician would always notice my uneven eyebrows. Grr!

Ma'am bakit maiksi yung kilay mo sa kaliwa? I really am tired of hearing the same thing over and over again. That is why, I have decided to give a solution to my longtime dilemma. Although not permanent, at least I have got something that will help in hiding my flaws when going out.

I got Snoe's What's Up Brow Eyebrow Gel Corrector for P800+. I am not a pro in doing my own make-up so I asked the SA to apply it for me. I liked it very much! I felt like an instant celebrity when I saw my brows! I took a lot of selfies before removing my eyebrow make-up and compared it with my photos with just eyebrow powder on and I really looked different.

With Snoe's What's Up Brow Eyebrow Gel Corrector, my eyebrows look FANTABULOUS! I am still struggling to apply it impeccably though. But I am positive that I would be able to master it sooner or later. Practice makes perfect, right?

Post Valentines Gift

This is my baby's post Valentines gift to me. The box contains pretty much of everything I need--- Clinique blush on and lipstick, nailpolishes and assorted sugar free chocolates! But what I loved the most was the personalized greeting card that she made just for me. I'm so kilig! Teehee! I didn't know that she has talent in making artistic stuff like that. I'm beyond blessed to have her in my life! She never fails to make me smile everyday. I love you to the moon & back, my love!

In2it Eyebrow Colour

Finally, I bought one of the most raved eyeshadows today-- the In2it waterproof eyebrow colour. I just can't leave the house without filled in eyebrows. It really looks sparse so I really have to exert an effort in filling it in with an eyebrow powder or else my life would be doomed. Haha!

I was able to use the In2it waterproof eyebrow colour just the other day and I was happy with what it has done to my eyebrows. It was highly pigmented and very easy to apply. Would love to show all of you the before and after pictures on my next post (hopefully). I'm so not in the mood to take a selfie 'cause my headache's been a pain in the a** since this morning.

The Havaianas metallic rose gold flipflops are just perfect. It really complements my fair skin tone. While the naturactor is good in concealing my eyebags and other unwanted acne scars and blemishes on my face.

Ben Nye Banana Luxury Powder and Maybelline Foundation

Maybelline clear smooth aqua foundation and Ben Nye banana luxury powder are my current favorite make up products. Ben Nye is one of the most talked about make up brands today. I have been reading rave reviews regarding this product so I've finally made the decision to give it a shot. I bought the small sized bottle which costs PHP 800. The price is quite expensive for its size but I really have to try this one since the reviews that I've read were mostly positive. The Ben Nye Banana luxury powder works best if paired with any creamy foundation. I have got to try it the other day and I can say that I am quite impressed with the results. The yellowish color of the powder suits my fair complexion. It has a lasting effect though I still have to re-apply it after 4 hours or so because I sweat a lot. I would give this product a score of 8 out of 10.

What Is Inside My Bag

What is inside my bag? I am quite sure some of you are inquisitive of the things that I usually bring with me whenever I go out. iPhone, lipstick, wallet and camera are some of the things that you can find inside my bag. However, I do not bring my dslr when I am doing my shopping/grocery shopping. It is kind of heavy so I usually don't bring it with me. It just so happened that I've attended my sister's oathtaking ceremony when I took  this shot. My make up kit which contains powder, blush on and eyeshadow was not captured on this photo. And yes, my perfume and headphones too.

Vanity Strikes Again

Make-up is every girl's bestfriend. I have started wearing make-up when I was in first year college. My aunt taught me how to apply blush-on and lipstick and eventually learned how to get it done all by myself. Whenever she comes home to spend the holidays with the family, she always gives me some stock of MAC products and cute nailpolishes from famous brands such as O.P.I and Essie. Last time, I bought myself some Face Shop nailpolishes and blush on. The peach shade blush on complements my fair skin tone. I get praises from my friends whenever I wear it together with my Angel shade MAC lipstick. I also adore the color of my new nailpolish. It makes my hands look 2 years younger! LOL. I wish I could have all the products from my favorite make-up brands especially those cute MAC lippies I have been seeing on online stores. They are too die for!
